Starter text for the founder to review. This page is a plain-English draft, not legal advice. Check it, and have it reviewed if you need to, before relying on it.
What we collect
When you create an account, ACE CSCA keeps:
- your email address and your name,
- your test results, including your answers and the time you took,
- the questions you got wrong (your mistake bank),
- which videos you've marked as watched,
- your mental-maths drill scores,
- any exam you've started but not submitted, so you can carry on later.
If you take the free diagnostic without an account, your answers stay on your own device until you create an account or 7 days pass.
Where it's stored and processed
- Supabase stores your account and your progress.
- Resend sends our emails, such as your sign-in code.
- Cloudflare hosts the website.
- YouTube and Bunny.net play the course videos. A video only loads when you press play.
Your browser also keeps a copy of your progress on your device, filed under your account, so the site works quickly and offline for a while.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Students under 18
Many of our students are under 18. If you are, please use ACE CSCA with a parent's or guardian's permission. Your parent or guardian can also ask to see your data or have it deleted.
Seeing or deleting your data
To get a copy of your data, sign in, open your profile and choose Download my data. It downloads a file with your account details, results, mistakes, videos watched and drill scores.
To have your account and all your progress deleted, or if you'd rather we sent you the copy, email the contact address from the address you signed up with. Say whether you want a copy or a deletion. A parent or guardian can ask on behalf of a student under 18.
